THE VANDERPUMP NURSERY
OUR MATERNITY & NURSERY PROGRAMS
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation actively works with High Kill Shelters in the City / County of Los Angeles to assist in the relocation and safe upbringing of pregnant mothers and their litters. As a pregnant mom may have upwards of 8 puppies, City and County shelters are unable and understaffed to properly take care of newborn puppies. This leaves puppies and pregnant moms at a major risk of euthanasia, even days before their delivery date.
With the creation of the off-site Vanderpump Dogs Nursery Program, using a network of dedicated fosters, we are able to provide a safe, nurturing environment for moms to birth their pups as well as a safe place for these puppies to grow up before they are able to be transferred to our Adoption Facility. It is difficult for many rescues to commit to 8 weeks of care before the puppies can get adopted, but with a dedicated Nursery Program, we are able to do so!
WE NEED YOUR HELP
The cost of supporting an expectant mother and her litter until they are ready for adoption is expensive. From prenatal care for mom and the safe delivery of the litter, to 8 weeks of specialized care, supplemental bottle feedings and food, to vaccinations and sterilizations of the pups, a lot of work goes into our Nursery Program! Help us by sponsoring the birth, necessary feedings, care, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, for 1 puppy! You will be able to name the Puppy and receive updates on their progress and home!

Vaccination + Microchipping Fund, $100 a dog
All of our puppies and pregnant mothers need to be microchipped and vaccinated (multiple rounds) before going to their forever homes. We would love your help contributing to the cost of these procedures!

As you can imagine, we have a lot of dogs coming through our nursery program, and every one from the new mother to the babies have to be spayed and neutered before they go to their forever home!

Contribute to our Puppy Medical Fund, $3,000/month
Many of our pregnant mothers and puppies come to us from dire situations and require medical treatment & urgent care at the hospital. This can cost upwards of $1500/ night, so our nursery can get expensive!
