INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation is committed to creating a better future for dogs around the world. While our International missions began in China, ending the dog meat trade, our Foundation is also deeply committed to creating better conditions for dogs globally. Our work takes us all around the world, from Venezuela, to Peru, to Mexico and beyond.
VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: VENEZUELA
In 2018, we began partnering with rescue organizations in Venezuela to help care for the stray animals on their streets. Like many countries, the problem of animal homelessness in Venezuela is a serious one. With an average monthly wage of only $8.00 and the monthly cost of care for one dog ranging from $2.25 to $5.20, many people have no choice but to abandon their pets. Since launching our Venezuela Program, we have helped over 1,300 dogs and 1,500 cats receive essential vaccinations and medications, surgeries, and daily care to help them survive.
In 2019, we began relocating several dogs from our partner organization in Venezuela to our Rescue Center in The United States, where they are adopted out to their forever families! Our relocation program is currently on hold due to the pandemic, but we will be relaunching it as soon as we are able! Until then, we will continue to support our partner organizations in Venezuela and give these dogs the care and support they deserve.
It costs up to $2,500 each month to support our rescue efforts in Venezuela and continue to provide care for these dogs in need. With our rescue partners, each month we commit to providing food for over 1,000 dogs, two major surgeries, and 50-100 sterilizations to prevent overpopulation.

VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: PERU
In 2019, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation began operating two rescue facilities in Peru, housing a total of 60 rescue dogs. Many of these dogs were living as strays on the streets, suffering from injuries, malnourishment, terrible skin issues, and more.
Working alongside our partner rescue organizations our incredible team in Peru, we are able to rehabilitate dogs in critical need as well as provide them with vaccinations, medication, food, and shelter.
It costs up to $2,000 each month to support our rescue efforts and continue to provide care and shelter for these dogs in need. It costs on average $1 a day, or $30 each month, to provide total care to one of our dogs in Peru. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of even more dogs in Peru and around the world!

VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: MEXICO
Since 2018, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has conducted medical missions to Mexico, where the issue of animal homelessness is rampant. Of the estimated 18 million dogs living in Mexico, a staggering 70% are homeless, born as strays or abandoned by their owners, and left to fend for themselves on the streets. Lacking basic care, food, and shelter, many of these dogs succumb to disease, dehydration and starvation - that is, if they aren't first captured and euthanized by local authorities.
Working alongside partner organizations in Mexico, our goal is to provide food, vaccinations, essential veterinary care, and more to as many dogs as possible. As part of our Mexico Program, we also relocate several dogs from our partner rescue organizations in Mexico to our Rescue Center in The United States, where they are adopted out to their forever families! Our relocation program is currently on hold due to the pandemic, but we will be relaunching it as soon as we are able! Until then, we will continue to support our partner organization in Mexico and provide these dogs the care and support they deserve.

VANDERPUMP MISSIONS: PUERTO RICO
We have partnered with Souls of Satos, a non-profit animal rescue group dedicated to improving the lives of homeless and abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico. Together our organizations work to better the lives of dogs in need while Puerto Rico continues to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
In addition to supporting the medical treatment, vaccinations, and daily care of these dogs in need, our Foundation also helps relocate several dogs from Puerto Rico to our Rescue Center in The United States, where they are adopted out to their forever families! For a donation of $750, you can sponsor the safe transport of one dog to its forever home! Our relocation program is currently on hold due to the pandemic, but we will be relaunching it as soon as we are able! Until then, we will continue to support Souls of Sato and provide these dogs with the care and support they deserve.
To fully run our Puerto Rico Program costs on average $4,000 each month, including the safe transport of four dogs, sterilization surgeries, all vaccinations as well as microchipping. With your help, we can continue to provide the best life for dogs in need in Puerto Rico every month!
